Abraham Bloemaert, Dutch, (1566-1651). Bloemaert was a painter, engraver and draughtsman, as well as a writer and teacher.
Bloemaert excelled more as a colorist than as a draughtsman, and is considered one of Netherlands’ principal painters in the first half of the 17th century.
