About the Artist
Master of Saint Veronica, German, (fl.1395-1420). The Master of Saint Veronica worked in Cologne in the early years of the 15th century. Nothing is known of his life. His name comes from a painting showing Saint Veronica with the Sudarium from the church of St. Severin in Cologne and now in the Alte Pinakothek in Munich.
