Australia, (b. 1963)
PIG
- he is eating the head of a pig
- his eyes are knives, his fingers are teeth
- he dips the tongue of his spoon
- into the pig’s brown blood
- he lifts spoon to mouth
- spoon to mouth
- draws a mirror of blood on the table
- he sees himself with pig fingers
- and pig nose
- he sees himself as a pig
- eating a human head
- he devours the eyes
- they are his own eyes
- he chews the ears
- they are his own ears
- he puts the pig’s mouth
- into his own mouth
- and when he swallows
- he hears himself scream
